first and foremost I'd like to thank the acadamy | Liebster Award

09:01

It's raining when 10 minutes ago the sun was shining as if it were summer. I don't get Irish weather and I don't think I ever will. I feel all over the place. I feel happy and sad and angry and tired and partly motivated and annoyed and a tiny bit energized but not enough to do anything energizing. My head is reeling with 1000 thoughts per second and it doesn't seem to be getting any quieter. I feel sort of ill and I'm frustrated with everything and nothing at the same time. I am starting to feel sort of happy though because I have been nominated to do the Liebster Award by the lovely Céline and Matilda whose blogs you need (as in I've left you virtually no option) to check out. Thank you girls for the nomination because you've definitely cheered me up!

Anyways I shall get started.

*The rules (or at least I think they're the rules) are as follows:*
1. Each person must post 11 things about themselves
2. Answer the questions that the nominator has set for you, plus create 11 questions for the people you've nominated to answer
3. Choose 11 people and link them in your post
4. Go to their page and tell them
5. No tag backs!

11 things about myself:
1. I'm Nigerian but have lived in Ireland since I was 2.
2. I'm the most pickiest eater ever.
3. I'm a Christian.
4. I talk very fast and tend to mumble, but ironically I have competed in competitions for poetry recitation     and public speaking.
5. I'm obsessed with Rookie Mag and feminism.
6. I could spend hours upon hours reading articles on wikipedia about absolutely anything.
7. I am the biggest procrastinator ever, but I think you all know that already.
8. I like art and watercolour painting, but I stopped like 2 years ago and I'm trying to get back into it.
9. I'm obsessed with travelling and have visited America (twice), Nigeria (twice), Holland, Germany, Great Britain, and Canada and will be visiting Spain in April.
10. I'm great and starting things but rubbish at finishing.
11. My best friend in like the world ever moved to America I think 4 years ago but we still talk to each other nearly everyday.

Céline's Questions:
1. What language(s) do you speak?
2. What are your hobbies/passions?
3. Have you changed a lot since childhood?
4. What kind of movies do you like?
5. Are you a shoulder or hand purse kinda gal?
6. Where have you or would you like to travel?
7. What kind of books do you like to read?
8. What are you interested in?
9. What made you start your blog?
10. What is your fondest memory?
11. What's your dream?

1. I can only fluently speak English, but I can fluently hear (is that how it's said? idk) Igbo, a Nigerian language, and I could probably speak it if I wanted but I don't.
2. I like art, blogging, reading, I love reading about new things, listening to music, and I love travelling.
3. Physically, yes. Mentally, a bit. I'd say I've changed in the way I see the world and in finding who I am.
4. I don't really watch movies, but I like teen comedy's, sort of like 10 Things I Hate About You; Mean Girls; Wild Child, etc. I am very clichè.
5. Shoulder bags definitely.
6. I mentioned where I have travelled above, but I'd love to travel to the South Pacific Islands, Morocco, Japan, and more places in Europe.
7. I read the very stereotypically teenage books like John Green, I also like reading classical sometimes, and sometimes adventure depending on my mood.
8. I'm interested in feminism, Rookie Mag, educating myself about different topics, fashion, travelling and culture, and basically broadening and opening myself and my mind up to different things.
9. I'd been reading blogs for a while and my youth leader had suggested that I start a style blog cause she loved my style, and I initially was going to do that but than I started reading Rookie again and decided that I'd prefer to write about myself and stuff, so yea.
10. Probably back in the days between the ages of 4-6 when I'd spend more time in my best friend's house than my own.
11. Basically to travel the world and get paid for it, to meet One Direction and tell them how much they mean to me, particularly Harry, and I'm hoping to just live life to the fullest and be happy.

Mattie's Questions:
1. If you had to live on five foods for the rest of your life (nutrition doesn't matter!) what would they be?
2. What's your all time favourite lyric?
3. Who/what inspires you?
4. In ten years time, where do you see yourself?
5. What are your favourite names?
6. If you had to pick a favourite thing about yourself, what would it be? (NO MODEST ANSWERS HERE PLEASE!)
7. Who knows you like no one else?
8. If you could travel anywhere, where would it be?
9. Cats or dogs?
10. Where are you happiest?
11. Why did you start blogging?

1. chicken, vanilla ice cream, potatoes, corn, and nutella on toast. my mouth is literally watering
2. This is unbelievably hard but probably the two words in Alt-J's song Bloodflood, "Breath in. Exhale"
3. Everything. People on tumblr, instagram, bloggers, artists like Lorde, Tavi Gevinson, Rookie, adventurous people, Jasmine (my best friend), happy and positive people, photography, art, just everything really.
4. There's this couple that I know, and they basically travel the world photographing weddings, and they seem so happy and positive and full of life, and I basically that's where I want to be in 10 years. Travelling the world, doing something I love with someone I love.
5. India/Indie, August, Aurora, Chase, and Jeremiah
6. Physically probably my nose, collarbones, and shoulder blades, as for me as a person I like that I'm quite open to different things, I like the fact that I'm seen as quite but not a walkover and my need for adventure.
7. Jasmine knows me the best, but I'm still quite introverted. (also God knows me quite well yh)
8. Morocco is definitely at the top of my list.
9. Honestly neither. I am not an animal person in the slightest.
10. I'm happiest on a plane, in the airport, and in wifi zones.
11. I was told that I could be a good blogger and I like reading them so why not start one.

My 11 questions for the nominees:
1. If you could only shop in one place for the rest of your life, where would it be?
2. What are your top 3 worst foods?
3. What do you do to relax?
4. Beauty or fashion?
5. What's the most descriptive way you would describe yourself?
6. If you could be reincarnated as any animal, what would you be and why?
7. If you could have dinner with any well-known person, dead or alive, who would it be and why?
8. What do you miss the most?
9. How do you choose to express yourself?
10. Top 5 favourite bands/artists?
11. What are 3 things on your bucket list?

I nominate:
1. Indy
2. Sonja
4. Tiana
6. Joni
7. Anna
8. India
9. Alyssa
10. Ruby
11. Lucy

I hope I answered the questions properly, and if I didn't I'm sorry! Also you all should checkout everyone's blogs that I've tagged because they're all fantastique. Again, I've left you virtually no choice. Also if I nominated and you don't want to do this than you should know that I'm totally fine with that and you're offending no one.

Hey, I hope you got to know me a bit from this post. I sure did. I learned from this blog post that I really do like my shoulder blades, I'm quite strange, and I'm o b s e s s e s s e d with travel.

If you've read this whole post you are being showered in invisible confetti and if you listen closely you might hear party poppers going off in the distance. You're a real trooper.

    1. I don't even remember moving to Ireland so if my mum hadn't told me that I moved here when I was 2, I would've assumed I've lived here since birth! My accent is very much Irish, but it's not extremely thick, it's a lot more articulative if that makes any sense hahaha! :) x
