“Here’s to freedom, cheers to art. Here’s to having an excellent adventure and may the stopping never start.”

It's Monday, and 95% of people I've encountered hate today, and I don't know if I quite understand why. I mean, maybe I just feel bad for Monday because it's done nothing wrong. It's not it's fault that it was placed right after Sunday. I'm not really affected by the "Monday blues", obviously I'm not a fan of waking up for school early and facing the school day, but Monday is how you make it out to be right?

The sun was shining brightly for the majority of the day today and I instantly felt like I could take on the world. Isn't it so amazing how just a bit of sunshine (that has been truly missed) can do that to you? It made me so excited for the months to come! It's nearly spring (even though in my head March the 1st is officially spring for me) and that means that colour will soon be injected back into the world! The green of the trees, the blue of the sky, the pink, yellow, and purple flowers, who needs a rainbow? Also the weather will be getting brighter and warmer which means more after-school and weekend adventures!

I went on an "after-school adventure" today. It was more of me taking a longer, more scenic and peaceful route home, but I did happen to bring my camera along and did get a few nice pictures.

I've never been down this path. I'm not sure why. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the fear of not knowing what I might find down it, but I'm going to venture down the unknown hopefully this weekend with my sister, and I will document what exactly awaits the adventure-driven.

I have an obsession with the sky and clouds. I've had it since as long as I can remember. The sheer vastness of the universe is so mind-boggling. My favourite is the night sky, when it's dotted with tiny little stars and the moon is partly covered with dark clouds .

When I was younger my best friend and I would go out onto her trampoline and lie down, slightly bobbing up and down, and use our imaginations to point out as many outrageous (because normal wasn't allowed) cloud shapes as we could. There was anything from dragons to dogs jumping on top of turtles. Thinking about it now I feel very nostalgic. Those innocent days, where your imagination could take you anywhere you wanted. Those were my favourite days.

I mentioned this in my favourites post, and yea, it's been on repeat and will probably be on repeat for months to come.

    1. I'm excited to be able to wear skirts and dresses and tank top and all that without having to care about keeping warm, though living in Ireland it's never really warm, so hot tea is a staple all year round! Thank you! :) x
